RENEW And The Hill Tribes Of Vietnam
Unlimited Posssibilities supports the amazing work of RENEW (Restoring the Environment and Neutralizing the Effects of the War) that...
Will Evans pulls everyone into his embrace. He musically accesses a space without boundaries where all are welcome to commune openly and move freely. Through quotable folk-inspired lyrics, breezy grooves, and roots energy, it’s as if he’s giving you permission to be that pure self you can’t always be at work or even at home. The Rhode Island-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist also puts his words into action via his “Kind Folk” fan community, activating small acts of kindness, charity, and goodwill in tandem with performances nationwide. Buzzing out of the East Coast, he has consistently engaged and enraptured a fervent audience. By rotating between acoustic guitar, didgeridoo, handpan, percussive beatboxing, and more, he has developed a living and breathing signature sound of his own. Following Wishin’ Well [2013] and Signal Flares [2015], he reached a creative tipping point on Rise [2018]. Beyond collaborations with Trevor Hall, Mihali, and Paul Izak, it yielded the fan favorites Adam Eve”, “Rise” and “Hoka Hey” with over 5 million streams and counting. The album notably garnered three nominations at the New England Music Awards. 2023 saw him share After The Burnt Out Sun. Between selling out shows across the U.S. and Europe, he has graced bills alongside Crosby & Nash, Grace Potter, Bruce Hornsby, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Trevor Hall, and Railroad Earth.
$50 per person is the suggested donation. This is a fundraising event for UP and we’re trying to raise as much as we can. UP does amazing service work for those in need, all over the country and parts of the world. These two musicians believe in UP’s mission. They in turn, will be giving you an amazing experience with their talents… so it is worth every bit that you contribute. With that said, we hope that you can give what you can.
Connor Garvey will make a special guest appearance at the start of the show. Connor is an award-winning singer-songwriter from Portland, Maine and our close friend. He has the amiable presence of an entertainer, the lyrical depth of a poet, and the enchantment of a storyteller. Garvey leaves audiences uplifted and inspired through a positive message delivered in a way that proves you can be optimistic and self-aware without being boring. He’s an incredibly talented musician who has won several awards at many folk festivals. It will be a pleasure and an honor to have Connor on stage.
